We drove 2000km for a Cappuccino

We drove 2000km for a Cappuccino. A 1992 Suzuki Cappuccino.

My mate Harry scored himself a Suzuki Cappuccino in Sydney, 1000km from home.

We drove from Brisbane to Sydney to pick it up over a weekend in October 2019, 1000km one day 1000km the next.

The trusty LAID mobile (iLoad) on the way to Sydney

Stopping at Burwood in Sydney's western suburbs, Harry introduced me to Hot Pot. Burnt my face off but oh so good.

Once you select your ingredients, so take it all up to the counter and order how you would like it cooked. Harry had to walk me through it and translate.

Stop off at the huge Maccas just north of Sydney

This was just as the massive Australian bushfires were starting which wiped out a large part of the country. And also a few months before the Covid Pandemic hit causing mass lockdowns.

We made it ok however the iload engine completely died within two months of this trip and had to be written off.

RIP iLoad, you were good to us.

To Be Continued.
